What's next for Jennifer Lopez ?

Na edição da Harper's Bazaar de dezembro, Jennifer comenta sobre seu estilo de vida, suas admirações e seus próximos projetos.

Alguns quotes da entrevista:

Sobre o álbum em espanhol...
"The Spanish album is very classic; the songs are intended to be timeless. So you'll see a different side of who I am." Leaving plunging necklines behind, she says ar the moment she's "not into 'sexy, sexy'.

Estilo...
Whose style does she respect? "I love hats and head wraps, they remind me of Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, and Lana Turner - old Hollywood," she says, sipping mineral water. She also appreciates both Madonna's and Gwen Stefani's styles but adds, "I never approach my look from 'What is so-and-so doing that's working?' Because the only thing that works is being yourself. The most important question I ask myself getting dressed is 'Who am I right now?'

Negócios...
(...) she partnered with Cory four years ago to launch the Jennifer Lopez fragance line. The venture has enjoyed global sales of more than $500 million and literally changed the face of the celebrity-perfume business. Next, she planes to launch a fragance and cosmectics under the name of her ready-to-wear collection, Sweerface. "I never thought my perfumes would do so well" she says. "The whole perfume thing has been great because it's creative, but at the same time you can make a litle bit of money doing it. I bankrolled Bordertown, El Cantante and the Spanunish album. Artists don't make a ton of money from CD sales. The Record company makes most os the money."

Próximo projeto...
Somehow in the midst of it all, Jennifer is preparing to star in a nwe Don Roos movie, Love and Other Impossible Pursuits. The story line, about a woman and her stepson.

Barbra Streisand...
If there were a path in life that Jennifer would emulate however, it would be that of Barbra Streisand. "I love her and have the utmost respect for her as far as being strong and having survived this business," she says with a sigh. "Now, there's a woman who is classic, timeless: her songs, her looks, her filmes. A fwe years ago, I Sent her two scripts because I wanted to work with her. When she called back, I was too starstruck to talke to her, so my manager took the call. And you know what she told him? 'Jennifer's too good for theses'. It helped me rethink my whole career. Since then, I've only done projects I've loved doing....Interestinglym at the end of the day, El Cantante, Bordertown, and the Spanish album could turn out to make no money, and it was out of my own pocket."
